For Janis Anderson School of Dancing
Corona Virus update - School Closure
Due to the latest government statement we have made the tough decision to cancel all our Schools dance classes.
This is not a decision we have taken lightly but we have to put the safety of our student’s, staff and parents first.
All being well our School will re-open after the Easter holidays week beginning 20th April 2020 but this is subject to change following government guidelines.
Keep your eye out on our Website and Facebook Page for further details.
WE are currently working on a JADance Blog in which we will be posting dance videos, ballet technique sessions and competitions and lots of fun stuff to keep your little ones and the senior students super busy and their fitness levels up for when we return.
We hope that everyone understands our decision and will support us when we reopen...
I wish you all a very happy Easter, i hope everyone stays well and I will look forward to seeing everyone enjoying our new Blog sessions....
With Love and Best Wishes
What is Coronavirus/Covid-19?
COVID-19 is a new illness that can affect your lungs and airways. It's caused by a virus called coronavirus.
The symptoms of coronavirus are:
a high temperature
shortness of breath
But these symptoms do not necessarily mean you have the illness; the symptoms are similar to other illnesses that are much more common, such as cold and flu.
wash your hands with soap and water often - do this for at least 20 seconds
always wash your hands when you get home, into work, or to dance class
soap and water is ideal; if this is not available then use hand sanitiser
cover your mouth & nose with a tissue or your elbow when you cough or sneeze
put used tissues in the bin straight away and wash your hands afterwards
try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell
touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean
attend classes at Janis Anderson School of Dancing if you or your child are showing symptoms of illness, or have been during 48 hours previously
Impact on our Janis Anderson School of Dancing
