It’s SHOW WEEK! Eeeek! 🌟 I can’t believe we’re finally here!
Here’s everything you need to know about who needs to be where and when for Everwood at The Hammond Theatre, Chester. Please read through carefully so everyone knows
exactly what’s happening this week.
🌸 MONDAY 26 OCTOBER
Normal classes at Frodsham
Our usual Monday classes will run as normal.
This is the last chance for all our Frodsham children to practise before show week gets underway!
🌸 TUESDAY 27 OCTOBER
Normal classes at Tarvin and Tap classes at Ashton Hayes
Our usual Tarvin classes and Tap classes at Ashton Hayes will run as normal.
These will be the final practices for all our Tarvin children and our adult tappers before we head into the theatre.
🌸 WEDNESDAY 28 OCTOBER
No regular classes today
I’ll be at The Hammond Theatre all day working on the technical preparations for our show.
Adult rehearsal: 6:30–8:30 pm
This rehearsal is for our adult cast and any students involved in the adult dances.
📍 Location: The Hammond Theatre, Chester.
🌸 THURSDAY 29 OCTOBER
Messy rehearsal: 1:00–5:00 pm
Our messy rehearsal takes place at The Hammond Theatre.
📍 Location: The Hammond Theatre, Chester.
Please ensure everyone required for this rehearsal is available for the full session, no costumes needed for this rehersal - please arrive in Uniform and hair doine for performance.
🌸 FRIDAY 30 OCTOBER
DRESS REHEARSAL & OPENING NIGHT!
⏰ Cast call: 1:00 pm
We’ll spend the afternoon getting everything ready for our first performance, with the dress rehearsal planned for approximately 1:00–5:00 pm.
🎭 Performance time: 7:30 pm
📍 Location: The Hammond Theatre, Chester.
DON'T FORGET YOUR COSTUMES and MAKE-UP please arrive with hair done.
🌸 SATURDAY 31 OCTOBER
Two performances!
📍 Location: The Hammond Theatre, Chester.
Junior cast — Frodsham children
Arrival: 1:30 pm
All ready in costume, make-up and hair done
Senior cast
Arrival: 12:30 pm
🎭 Performance times:
Matinee: 2:30 pm
Evening: 7:30 pm
Our junior Frodsham children will join us for their sections of the show, including the opening and finale, as arranged.
🌸 SUNDAY 1 NOVEMBER
Our final performance!
📍 Location: The Hammond Theatre, Chester.
Junior cast — Tarvin children
Arrival: 1:30 pm
All ready in costume, make-up and hair done
Senior cast
Arrival: 12:30 pm
🎭 Performance time: 2:30 pm
Let’s make our final performance one to remember!
✅ IMPORTANT REMINDERS
Costumes, hair and make-up Please check the attached document carefully for all hair and make-up requirements. Make sure you bring every costume, pair of shoes, tights, accessory and any assigned props you need.
Sign-in and sign-out All children must be signed in and out according to our show arrangements.
Backstage Parents must not enter backstage areas. Our chaperones and helpers will look after the children and ensure everyone knows where they need to be.
Food arrangements If you would like to order food for the show days, please make sure you have booked in. Full details are in the previous blog post.
The food will be served buffet-style, so I only need to know numbers — you don’t need to tell me individual food choices!
Arrival times Please arrive promptly at your specified call time, ready to follow the production team’s instructions.
🎃 DON’T FORGET YOUR PUMPKINS!
Please don’t forget to bring your decorated pumpkins for Everwood! Our four fairies will be choosing their favourites, and there are prizes to be won!
Just make sure your name is somewhere on your pumpkin so we know who created it.
And do have a look at the cutest pictures of two of our JADance students getting their pumpkins ready for the show — cuteness overload! 🥹🎃💚

I honestly cannot wait to see you all this week for our final rehearsals and then watch everything come together on stage.
The children and adults have worked so hard, and I am so excited for you all to see what we’ve been creating. I have a feeling we’re going to blow everyone’s socks off!
